This Saturday, the Friendly Streets Initiative, collaboration with the Union Park District Couricil and the Hamline Midway Coalition, will be lighting up an underpass an Fairview Avenue for an evening of activities that will help folks brainstorm about how the area could be more bicycle- and pedestrian-friendly. Enger's book, The High Divide, is a contemporary take on a Western saga, and takes place in the 1880s. The story follows a family's journey to find the truth about the disappearance of their patriarch, Ulysses.
