Deanna was an RN who spent her entire 28 year career in the Emergency Dept. of North Memorial Medical Center where she served as Head Nurse, Dept.

Head, Supervisor, and from 1976-1985 as Administrative Coordinator, Emergency Medical Services. From 1970-1974 she was President of the Greater Twin City Emergency Dept. Nurses Association and from 1975-1979 served as Vice President of the National EDNA Board of Directors. With husband Steve, Deanna was an accomplished Birder and world traveler. In retirement, she also volunteered serving several years as President of the Mpls.

Following graduation, she worked for U.S. Military Intelligence in Washington, D.C. She married in 1943. She and her family were residents of Edina for 37 years where she worked part-time as a teacher in the Edina school system. She was a devoted and active member of St.

Catholic Church, a member of the Edina Garden Club and other book, birthday, and social clubs. She treasured her many friendships. She was beloved by her husband and adored by her children. Avis and Rollie were born and lived in NE Minneapolis and St. Anthony Village all their lives. Both attended Edison High School and the University of Minnesota. Rollie graduated in Accounting and Avis graduated in Dietetics. They were lifelong members of Trinity United Methodist Church and Avis sang in the choir for over 65 years.

Avis was a member of Arcana Chapter O.E.S., Midland Hills Golf Club and Buchanan Club. Rollie served in the Air Force for five years, three in the European Theater of Operations in England. He was a founding and enthusiastic member of the NE Kiwanis Club, a member of the Eastside YMCA, Midland Hills Golf Club, Minneapolis Athletic Club, Arcana Masonic Lodge AF AM, Scottish Rite, Zu- hrah Temple of the Shrine. Rollie was a Certified Gemologist, American Gem Society and Registered Jeweler. Service 11 AM Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2511 Taylor Street NE.
