Larch, 54, pleaded rot guilty in Richfield Wednesday to a hit-run driving charge arising out of a Nov. 27 accident in which a Richfield youth was killed.

J. J. Poitras, of Richfield municipal court, continued Larch's case to Jan. 22, when a trial date will be set. Clayton L.

LeFevere, Richfield village attorney, said the trial will begin within a day or two after that. Larch's attorney, Gordon Peterson, yesterday filed an af j'ida vit of prejudice, asking that a judjte other than Poitras hear the case, lie said there were "a number of reasons" for the move but declined to say what they were. Poitras is Richfield's only judge, so a special judge would have to be appointed if he removed himself from the case. Larch, 2G31 Twelfth avenue was acquitted by a Hennepin county district court jury of a criminal negligence charge in connection with the hit-run death of Ronald Preble. 2409 W.
