Tribune Obituaries Public meetings Sidney Zeitlin, principal flutist for 21 years, dies Sidney Zeitlin, who was flute of the. Minnesota from 1969 1990, died day of complications of a plant. today will be held from 5 to at the chapel. Harold C. Nilsen, 83, former City Council member and mayor of Falcon Heights, died of complications from a stroke Sunday at Lyngblomsten Health Care Facility in St. Paul. In the late 1950s, he was a City Council member and served several terms as mayor.

"He really wanted to do what was best for the village," said his son, Harold, of St. Paul. Nilsen, of Falcon Heights, was born in Minneapolis and graduated from the old Wilson High School in St. Paul. He earned a bachelor's degree in forestry from the University of Minnesota and was in the Navy during World War II.

After the war, he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota and was an accountant for Harvest States Cooperatives office in Falcon Heights. He retired in 1973. Besides his son, he is survived by a sister, Louella Wood, of St. Paul. Services will be held at 2 p.m.
