Rosenbloom, 93, a Minneapolis attorney for more than 60 years, died Thursday at the Walker Methodist Health Center in Minneapolis. Rosenbloom, who was born in Lithuania, moved to Ely, with his family when he was a year old.

He graduated from high school there and taught in rural schools near Buyck, to carn money to attend law school in Minneapolis. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School and operated an office in downtown Minneapolis until he was 88, said his son, Amos, of Edina. He also had an office in Redwood Falls, Minn. Aside from his legal career, Rosenbloom enjoyed a variety of hobbies. "He went camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area before it was said his son.

"He knew how to make a campsite fantastic. It was like the Hilton. He could carry all the canoes and packsacks and make the campsite and still have the energy to enjoy it." He was a member of the Minneapolis YMCA. He had served in the Army Signal Corps during World War I and was a member of the Melvin Daskam American Legion Post in Redwood Falls. He was interested in the state of Israel and had been chairman of Histadrut.

Rosenbloom's wife, Esther, died in 1986. Along with his son, he is survived by a daughter, Jean Ann (Maanit) Tsoran, of Kibutz Sasa, Israel; sons Noah, a district judge in New Ulm, a brother, Herbert, of St. Paul, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at Hodroff Sons, 126 E.
