A.W. Holte was a farmer, an engineer, salesman, and Minnesota State Fair exhibitor for 60 years. His State Fair "Little Tin Milk Pails" have become collectors' items. His latter years were spent in perfecting and marketing the "Twin Dome" vacuum unit to the grain mills and elevators throughout the midwest, to prevent grain dust explosions. During WW Il, he was employed by Mpis Honeywell as a supervisor in the Parascope Division.

1 hr prior, Estes Chapel, 521-6744 Wold Walter age 78, of Loretto. Funeral 7 pm Tuesday Worrall Dana Clifton, 92, died Saturday December 7, in the Carlton Nursing Home in Carlton, MN. He had been a resident of the Cloquet area since 1938. Mr. Worrall was born July 1, 1899 in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota.

He grew up in the Park Rapids area and served in the U.S. Army during World War I after his enlistment in 1918. After a number of years of work in the timber industry as a woodsman, he joined the Minnesota Forest Service in 1926, having a variety of assignments around the state. In about 1943 he became woodlands manager for the Halvorson Tree Company, Duluth. In 1963 he served as acting executive director of the Minnesota Timber Producers Association.

Mr. Worrall was a member of the Society of American Foresters and served as a consulting land and timber appraiser for 30 years. Largely self-educated in forestry, he described his background as "many correspondence and short courses with the University of Minnesota and Minnesota Forest Service and many long courses in the woods." His research on the management of black spruce bogs in northern Minnesota received national attention. Memberships include: Carl Anderson American Legion Post 262 and Dalles Masonic Lodge A.F. and A.M.

Mr. Worrall was precaded in death by wife Gladys Hendrickson Worrall, who died in 1983. Survivors include his daughters, Joan Petroff her husband, John Petroff, and the Petroff sons, Dana and Phillip; Jean Ward and her daughters, Ellen and Amy, all of Minneapolis; a sister, Edna Schrupp, 94, Great Falls, Montana; a sister-in-law, Alice McLaren, Apple Valley, MN and nieces and nephews.
