Recreation Register by Friday for the first series of cross country ski lessons offered by Hennepin County Park Reserve District beginning the first week in January. The three two-hour classes, at a cost of $10 to $20, will be at Baker Park Reserve, County Roads 24 and 19, Maple Plain; Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, 9750 Egret Coon Rapids; Elm Creek Park Reserve, 13351 Elm Creek Road, northwest of Osseo; Hyland Lake Park Reserve, 8737 E. 11 1 Tonka-to-downtown line being introduced by MTC The Metropolitan Transit Commission will introduce a schedule on Route 51 from the Lake Min-netonka area to downtown Minneapolis on Saturday. The MTC will begin a limited stop service: Buses carrying a red "Limited Stop" sign will stop at six places between Interstate 494 and downtown. Buses that carry a "Local Service" route sign will serve Ridgedale Drive and Plymouth Road. Buses that run through Wayzata will serve the hew parkland-ride -lot.
