NOVEMBER 13, 1936 -THE MINNEAPOLIS RITES SATURDAY FOR JAMES COW Resident Here for 54 Years -Burial at Lakewood Funeral services for James B. 80, 5346 6 Penn avenue a Minneapolis resident 54 years, who died Thursday at his home, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Burd Johnston funeral chapel. will be at Lakewood. He was born in New Brunswick.

Surviving are the widow, Ida; a son, Myles B. Gow of Minneapolis; a sister, Sarah of Gardner, and three brothers, Charles F. of Eureka, Arthur of Hibbing and George W. of Fitchburg, Mass. CAMPBELL H.

OLIVER Funeral services for Campbell H. Oliver, 65, former Minneapolis resident, were conducted Wednesday in Hibbing, where he had lived the past. 20 years. Burial was at Mansfield, Ohio. He was county engineer at Hibbing 20 years and later a member of the Hibbing engineering department.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Eula Oliver, society editor of the Hibbing Tribune; two sons, John and I Richard, and a sister, Mrs. Jane Oliver Brinkerhoff of Mansfield, Ohio. MRS. BERTHA LEWIS Word of the death in New York of Mrs.

Bertha Lewis, Minneapolis resident many years and former treasurer of the Sheltering Arms orphanage, Forty-fourth street and the River boulevard, was received in Minneapolis Thursday. She resigned because of ill health and two years ago moved to Sag Harbor, L. I. Surviving are two children, John and Borliska. ANDREW REARDON Funeral services for Andrew Reardon, 76, Clontarf, who, died Wednesday, were conducted today in Clontarf.

Surviving are al sister, Mrs. Eliza Little of Barnum, three daughters, Mrs. D. H. Tillotson and Mrs.

Sullivan of Minneapolis and Alice of Clontarf; four sons, John T. of Minneapolis, Andrew E. of St. Paul and Joseph E. and Sylvester of Clontarf, and six grandchildren.

MRS. SARAH MORROW CLARK Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Morrow Clark, 82, who died Thursday, will be Saturday at 8:15 a. m. at the home of a ni niece, Mrs.

J. E. Finley, 5238 Xerxes avenue south, and at 9 a. m. at St.

Stephen's church. She was the widow of the late Thomas A. Clark, pioneer Minneapolis printer, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Morrow, early settlers in Minneapolis.

She was born in Stoko, Ontario, Canada, in 1854. She is survived by three children, Thomas A. of Minneapolis, Helen A. of Oakland, Calif. and Mary R.

of St. Paul; one sister, Mrs. H. A. Chisholm of Cranbrook, B.

Canada; and two grandchildren. ANDREW REARDON Andrew Reardon, 76, Clontarf, died Wednesday. Funeral services were held today at 9 a.m. at St. Malachy's church, Clontarf.

Mr. Reardon is survived by one sister, Mrs. Eliza Little, Barnum, three daughters, Mrs. D. H.

Tillotson, and Mrs. J. T. Sullivan, both of Minneapolis, and Miss Alice Reardon of Clontarf; four sons, John T. Reardon, Minneapolis; Andrew E.

Reardon, St. Paul, Joseph E. and Sylvester R. of Clontarf. MRS.

SARAH MORROW CLARK Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Morrow Clark, 82, Mound, widow of Thomas A. Clark, who died Thursday in St. Mary's hospital, will be at 8:15 a.m. Saturday at the home of her niece, Mrs.

J. E. Finley, 5238 Xerxes avenue and at 9 a.m. at St. Stephen's church.

Burial will be at St. Mary's cemetery. She was born in Stoko, and came to Minneapolis in 1871, living in Mound a and Minneapolis alternately in later years. Surviving are two sons, Harry of St. Paul and Thomas of Minneapolis; two daughters, Helen of Oakland, and Mary R.

of St. Paul; a sister, Mrs. A. J. Chisholm of Cranbrook, B.

and two grandchildren. MRS. KATHERINE STRIEBEL Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Striebel, 75, Wayzata, will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Name church in Medina, with burial at the Holy Name cemetery.

Surviving are the husband, August; two sons. John of Hamel and Frank of Los Angeles; seven daughters, Mrs. Mary Theio and Mrs. Dora Raskob of Wayzata, Mrs. Christine Sauer of Detroit Lakes, Mrs.

Clara Schuler of Golden Valley, Mrs. Leonthina Begin of Robbinsdale, Mrs. Rose Hansman of Minneapolis and Mrs. Stella Hansman of Los Angeles, 39 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. MRS.

Andersen, 72, a former resident of Minneapolis more than 40 years, who died Wednesday in Los Angeles, where she had moved two years ago, will be Saturday in Los Angeles. SPEED LIMIT DRIVE PLANS TO BE MADE Plans for a vigorous drive for a 30-mile speed limit on all streets, in Minneapolis will be considered at a meeting of the executive committee of the Automobile club safety council Monday noon at the Dyckman hotel. The 30-mile limit is included in a bill to be sponsored at the coming session of the state legislature. by the Minnesota Public Safety maximum committee. This bill also proposes driving speeds of 45 miles an hour on secondary highand 60 miles on trunk highways capable of supporting such speed.

90 DAYS FOR THEFT OF LIBRARY BOOK Edward Davis, 30, 1826 Chicago avenue and Glenwood, in whose possession a score of library books were found Wednesday, pleaded guilty in municipal court today to the theft of a $2.50 book from the Minneapolis public library and was sentenced to 90 days in the workhouse. Commitment was stayed and Davis placed on probation for one year with the understanding that all books be returned to the library and he make restitution for any loss. THREE DRIVERS PLEAD NOT GUILTY Pleas of not guilty were entered in traffic court today by three men charged with driving v. hile drunk.
