The Sioux Indian trapshoot-ing organization celebrating its eighteenth annual event here is composed of the leading JIMMY traps hooters ROBINSON from Iowa, North and South Da kota, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Some of the worlds' greatest trap-shots have belonged to this organization. Among the most famous were the late Fred Gilbert of Spirit Lake, Iowa, well known and one of the world's greatest trapshots and field shots; the late Earle Donahue, Minneapolis per haps the greatest professional clay I target shot of all time, and many others. Among the veteran gunners attending this shoot is Bim Castle, who came up from Charles City, Iowa. A few years ago Bim was considered one of the world's greatest doubles shots. Vic Rein-ders of Waukesha, is another and is considered the top target shot of the northwest at the present time.

The Sioux Indians are rigged out with war paint and feathers. The shoot has attracted more than 100 braves, at least 50 squaws and 25 papooses. Harry Maginnis was given the grand prize for the best looking Indian brave costume. Harry really looks the part of an 'injun. The shoot winds up tonight.

We spent a few days fishing In Wisconsin, around Ogema, last week. This is one Wisconsin's best musky areas. The waters of the Phillips flowage, Big Elk river, Flambeau and Jump rivers; the Tomahawk flowage, Deer, Spirit, Harpers and Stone lake and numerous other small waters, are all within a 30 mile radius of Ogema. Ogema lies 185 miles northeast of Minneapolis. The lnuskies have been hitting exceptionally well this spring and we talked with several anglers who had caught muskies that weighed 25 pounds and more.

It Is safe to say that at least 100 muskies have been caught in this region In the past two weeks. We fished with Cal Johnson, noted fishing authority and magazine writer and Cal claims that the muskies of this region average well above 12 pounds each. An 18 pound test line Is strong enough for these muskies, and bass tackle will afford you plenty of sport, although it takes a little more skill to land them.
