George Ludcke will discuss "Learning of Christ in the Villages" at the regular weekly meeting of the women of St. John's Episcopal' Church, this city, to be held in the church at 11 a.m., Thursday. Mr3. J. E.

Lucas will have charge of the devotionals. Luncheon will precede' the meeting. COURSE FOR HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEES WILL START A Ave weeks course for household employees will begin Thursday at I p.m. at the Y.W.CA. city building.

The Industrial Department is sponsoring the course for members of the Priscilla club, but any girl who is employed in a home or who is temporarily unemployed is eligible to join the class. A small registration fee will be required for those who are employed. The course will Include talks on the job analysis of a general worker In the home, relationship of employer and employee, hygiene, child training, and cooking fundamentals.1 Pemonpt rations will be given at each meeting on such practical things as answering the door and telephone, bed-making serving. MISS DOROTHEA NYLIN WILL BE TOASTMISTRESS Miss Dorothea Nylin, retiring president of the Women's Athletic Association at the University, will be toastmistress at he winter banquet of the group Thursday evening in Shevlin hall. MrCLENDON FAMILY, TO LEAVE HERE Dr. and Mrs. J. F. McClendon and their sons, Stewart and John, 815 Fulton street S.E., will leave March 16 for California.

Before sailing March 24 on board the Asama Maru for the Orient they will visit Mr. and Mrs. James B. Stewart at Los Angeles, parents of Mrs. McClendon, The McClendon family will go to Sendai, Japan, where Dr.

McClendon will be connected with the Tohoku Imperial university as a visiting professor. Pr. McClendon is a professor of physiology at the university. MRS. JENKINS TAKE TRIP IN SOUTH Mr.
