Nancy Humphrey Covey, 555 N. Pine View Lane, Plymouth, and Preston King Covey, San Francisco. The bride was, attended by her sister, Barbara Dudley, as maid of honor, and by Susan Irene Covey, sister of the groom, and Lynne Crane. The senior Mr. Covey was best man for his son.

Ushers were David Covey, brother of the groom, Robert Beim, Thomas Neil, Peter Steinhart and George Powell. A reception in Atherton, followed the ceremony. The bridal dinner was held Wednesday in the Mer.ho Park Country Club. The bride and groom, a graduate of Blake School, will be seniors next year at Stanford University. Both will work toward advanced degrees in teaching.

The wedding date was the same as that chosen the groom's maternal grandparents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Karl Humphrey. His paternal grandparents are Mrs. Wilkes P.

The bride received a B.A. degree this spring from the University of Minnesota. She is a microbiologist in the Department of Entomology at the university. The groom Is a student at the university and will graduate next year with a degree in a Sept. 19 wedding.
