Gustafson Rolland P. “Rollie” Gustafson, age 84, died Oct. 30, 2003. Avis M. Gustafson, age 84, died Dec. 6, 2003. They will be deeply missed by daughters, Faye Youngren (Tom), Trudy Christianson (Todd); granddaughters, Paula, Dawn, Julia, Tessa; grandson, David; great-granddaughter, Skylar; Avis’ brother, Dean (Shirley) Chenoweth; Chenoweth; sister-in-law, Roma Chenoweth; many nieces and nephews. Avis and Rollie were born and lived in NE Minneapolis and St. Anthony Anthony Village all their lives. Both attended Edison Edison High School and the University of Minnesota. Rollie graduated in Accounting Accounting and Avis graduated graduated in Dietetics. They were lifelong members of Trinity United Methodist Church and Avis sang in the choir for over 65 years. Avis was a member member of Arcana Chapter #38 O.E.S., Midland Hills Golf Club and Buchanan Club. Rollie served in the Air Force for five years, three in the European Theater of Operations in England. He was a founding and enthusiastic member of the NE Kiwanis Club, a member of the Eastside YMCA, Midland Hills Golf Club, Minneapolis Athletic Athletic Club, Arcana Masonic Masonic Lodge #187 AF & AM, Scottish Rite, Zu- hrah Temple of the Shrine. Rollie was a Certified Certified Gemologist, American American Gem Society and Registered Jeweler. Service Service 11 AM Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2511 Taylor Street NE. Interment Hillside Hillside Cemetery. Memorials Memorials preferred to donor’s choice. Friends may call at the church one hour before time of service.
